The Packard Group is comprised of Packard Truck Lines, Inc., Packard Pipe Terminals, Inc. and L.P.S., Inc.
L.P.S., Inc. owns and leases trucks exclusively to Packard Truck Lines, Inc.
Packard is based in Louisiana and operates in the southeast region of the country providing Heavy Hauling with specialized equipment. The Packard Yard is served by a Rail Spur and Dock Facility located on the intracoastal waterway. Packard Pipe Terminals stores, handles, and provides inventory control of tubular goods servicing the oil industry. Tuboscope Inspection, and Quality Threading companies are located in the Packard yard to offer a "One-Stop-Shop" service facility for the major pipe distributors and oil companies.

Packard Truck Lines, Inc. is a motor carrier specializing in the movement of oilfield equipment, pipe, heavy hauling and general commodity items with authority to operate in 48 states. Packard operates a fleet of 135 trucks from its terminals in Belle Chasse, Fourchon, Houma, New Iberia, Reserve and Venice, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas, on a call and demand basis, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Packard owns 25% of the equipment operated by the company.
PACKARD PIPE TERMINALS, INC.
Packard Pipe Terminals, Inc. specializes in the storage, handling and control of tubular goods used in the exploration, drilling and production of oil and natural gas. The terminal has over 100 acres of pipe storage at our yard in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, with a rail spur and a dock facility to handle barge traffic in conjunction with the trucking service.
The Packard computerized inventory control system is state of the art. Our customized inventory software allows customer linking and real time reporting through our system. The Packard program tracks pipe from receipt, through all in-yard activity, to shipment. Customers have direct access to their inventory reports received as required through e-mail.
ONE STOP SHOP
One Stop shop operation, comprised of Packard Truck Lines, Inc., Packard Pipe Terminals, Inc., Tuboscope Inspection and Quality Threading is ideally located in the heart of the Oil & Gas industry in Louisiana to serve the customer needs in the Gulf area.
The combined services are situated on a 100 acre facility serviced by truck, rail and barge. Because of its location, the logistical systems required in the threading, handling, storing and movement of tubular products provide the customer with a more efficient and cost competitive alternative.
